BUSH AND GORE'S VOCABULARIES STUCK IN JUNIOR HIGH

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Looks like the vocabularies of Al Gore and George W. Bush make the grade. Only problem: It's junior high. According to the Princeton Review test preparation service, both candidates' vocabularies are barely at the junior high level: Bush at a 6.7 grade level and Gore at a 7.9 level. By comparison, V.P. candidate Joe Lieberman uses a 9.2 vocabulary level and Dick Cheney uses the words of an 8th grader. Princeton Review founder Jon Katzman says the findings suggest that the candidates are "dumbing down" to reach the largest number of voters but says it's possible Gore and Bush simply have "weak vocabularies."
