NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Frank Sinatra's daughter Tina is confirming her father's reputed Mafia ties: She confesses he convinced the Mob to help elect John F. Kennedy. Tina tells the upcoming "60 Minutes" that Sinatra acted on the orders of Kennedy's dad, Joseph, who thought the Mafia could help deliver the union vote to JFK. Ol' Blue Eyes then telephoned Chicago crime boss Sam Giancana, and the wheels were set in motion. That's not Sinatra's only secret government deal. Tina also claims her father acted as a courier for the CIA, shuttling bigwig diplomats and secret papers in his private plane.
