PROVIDENCE, R.I. (Wireless Flash) -- Ever wonder if Wonder Woman was a lesbian? You're not alone -- her editors have too. Les Daniels, author of "Wonder Woman: The Complete History", says one of the editors at D.C. Comic Books continually wondered if the superheroine from the all female civilization might be a lesbian. However, Daniels says that Wonder Woman's creator, Dr. William Marston, wrote the character to appeal to men, not women, and to show that women were strong and capable. According to Daniels, if Wonder Woman were truly a lesbian then she wouldn't have left the island of women to pursue a relationship with hunky soldier Steve Trevor. However, that probably won't stop tongues from wagging.
