JAMES DEAN FORGOTTEN BY FANS?

CHOLAME, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- James Dean could soon become a "Rebel Without Any Fans." It seems few fans are visiting the California monument erected on a remote stretch of highway where Dean crashed his Porsche Spyder and died in 1955. Even though this Saturday (Sept. 30) will mark the 45th anniversary of the fateful crash near Cholame, California, one local historian says she doubts she'll see any Dean fans on that day. Even a classic car club that traces Dean's path every year on the anniversary has canceled the event this year due to lack of interest. Historian Lilly Grant thinks it's "sad" fans are forgetting the star, but says she'll still go out to the monument to pay her tributes on Saturday.
