CASUAL FRIDAY, MEET YOUR ENEMY: `DRESS-UP THURSDAY'

ALBANY, N.Y. (Wireless Flash) -- There's a new war in the workplace and it's all about clothes. In response to "Casual Fridays," a group of men's clothing retailers has banded together to start something called "Dress-Up Thursdays." The campaign's goal is to get 5 to 7 percent of all casually-dressed corporations to force their employees to dress up every Thursday. A spokesman claims casual clothing makes employees unproductive and lazy, and the best way to combat this is to get workers to don sport coats, ties, pantyhose and pumps. The Dress Up Thursday campaign will launch tomorrow in New York.
