BED-MAKING MACHINE AMONG CHILD INVENTIONS

BED-MAKING MACHINE AMONG CHILD INVENTIONS

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash) -- Kids don't have an excuse for not making their beds anymore thanks to a child inventor who has created a machine which makes beds automatically. The device consists of two cranks which yank a bedspread up through a system of strings and grommets. A few rotations and it looks as if you have a French maid on your payroll. The gadget is just one of the finalists in a kiddie invention contest sponsored by Craftsman. Other submissions include a "Dry Eyes Onion Slicer" that keeps you from crying by using modified Tupperware containers to shield the fumes and a "Milk Jug Masher" that crushes gallon milk containers easily. The top winners will be awarded $10,000 at a ceremony in Chicago later today (Sept. 22).
