NEW SYNDROME FOR SINGLE GALS: `WED-AHOLICISM'

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- A bizarre new syndrome is sweeping over single gals these days: "wed-aholicism." That's according to self-proclaimed "wedaholic" Mackenzie Brown, who claims victims of the syndrome suffer an incredible urge to plan weddings for themselves -- even if they have no boyfriend or fiancee. Brown says most "wedaholics" spend their days trying on wedding gowns and picking out china patterns for their imaginary weddings. She should know: The 25-year-old journalist began planning her wedding when she was just 12 and says most wedaholics simply want to make sure every detail is perfect. Brown shares her details about life as a wedaholic in the October issue of "Mademoiselle."
