CUBICLE CURE FOR LOUD MOUTHS

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (Wireless Flash) -- Office productivity may soon be on the rise thanks to a new way to silence jabbering jaws. The device is called the Sonet and it supposedly increases productivity by emitting the sound of gentle air wooshing. The noise somehow drowns out workplace blabbermouths, ringing phones and loud copy machines. Workplace noise may not be a laughing matter but Sonet spokesman Don Tocher says the inspiration for the device came from the comic strip "Dilbert," where cubicle privacy is a long-running joke.
