PORTA POCKET FOR POCKETLESS PANTS

PORTA POCKET FOR POCKETLESS PANTS

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash) -- When's the last time you said to yourself, "If only I had another pocket?" A Las Vegas inventor thinks he has the solution with a device he's calling the "Porta Pocket." The snap-on pocket attaches to clothing and is just one of the semi-finalists in an invention contest sponsored by Hammacher Schlemmer. Other odd inventions include... -- The "Fish'n'Chum," a hands-free fishing pole that attaches to your leg. -- A lipstick color blending kit called the "Lipstation." -- And a cordless waterproof microphone for folks who like to sing in the shower. Hammacher Schlemmer will announce the winning invention on September 7.
