FIRST HUMAN TO BE CLONED LATER THIS YEAR

LAS VEGAS (Wireless Flash) -- A Las Vegas research firm says it will create the world's first clone of a human being before the end of the year. The company -- called Clonaid -- hopes to make a clone of a 10-month-old boy who died earlier this year. Once all the kinks are worked out, a company spokeswoman says consumers will be charged about $500,000 for a clone. Clonaid director Dr. Bridgette Boisselier admits the lab may throw anti-cloning activists into a tizzy, but she predicts that once the child is born, "...no one will say it shouldn't be alive."
