INTEREST IN WINE ENEMAS OVERFLOWING

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- More people are enjoying wine these days -- but some aren't exactly sipping it. Experts say there's been a recent increase in the popularity of wine enemas. California-based sex therapist Dr. William Fitzgerald says the cabernet colonics aren't new and have been used for centuries to calm the nerves. Others get a sexual thrill when their bottom is full of beaujolais. Fitzgerald says wine enemas enthusiasts must be careful because there's a risk of alcohol poisoning since booze passes through the bowels much faster than the tummy. He also warns that champagne enemas can cause cramping due to the bubbles and cold temperature. If you insist in partaking in wine enemas, Fitzgerald suggests putting a cork in it before the third bottle, otherwise your large intestine could pop like a balloon, causing death.
