WILL GORE OR BUSH WIN COCKROACH DERBY?

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (Wireless Flash) -- George W. Bush and Al Gore may be bugged by this news but two cockroaches are about to predict who will become the next president. Later today the New Jersey Pest Control Association will hold its 11th Annual Cockroach Derby at Rutgers University. Two Madagascar "hissing" cockroaches -- one named "Bush," and the other named "Gore" -- will race each other on a 6-foot track. It may sound buggy but some roach experts claim the roach race is an effective predictor of the presidential race. In fact, a cockroach named "Clinton" beat a cockroach named "Bush" in 1992 and another Clinton cockroach beat a "Dole" cockroach in 1996.
