BBQ CAT FIGHT BETWEEN TEXAS AND TENNESSEE?

ROCKDALE, Tenn. (Wireless Flash) -- It may seem saucy but the upcoming presidential election could determine if beef or pork becomes America's most popular barbecue meat. It seems barbecue buffs in Al Gore's home state of Tennessee prefer pork shoulder while Texans like George W. Bush prefer chopped-up beef brisket. Andy Woodman of Corky's Barbecue in Memphis claims even the worst Tennessee BBQ is head and shoulders above Texas barbecue because pork shoulder has more flavor. But Wallace Brandyburg, owner of the No Teeth Barbecue in Rockdale, Texas, claims Tennessee BBQ taste "woody" and says most Tennesseans "defect" when they taste his brisket. No matter which candidate winds up in the Oval Office, both men insist their barbecue style is the one deserving the popular vote.
