ROCKY HORROR FREAKIER THAN USUAL

ROCKY HORROR FREAKIER THAN USUAL

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" may be bizarre -- but it's nothing compared to some of the actors auditioning for a Broadway version of the cult classic. Producers have selected 20 finalists to audition for the upcoming Broadway revival of "Rocky Horror" -- but the real horror is some of the rejects. One aspiring actor was a 75-year-old man who recited Shakespeare sonnets while another was a chubby opera diva who sang her heart out before suddenly breaking into the splits. One young female managed to finish her singing audition on tape -- but then her parrot provides an unintentional squawking finale. The final two audition candidates will be determined by the end of this week by online voters at the Broadway.com website. The "Rocky Horror" stage play will make its Broadway debut this Halloween.
