KENNY ROGERS WRITING KIDDIE BOOKS

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Wireless Flash) -- Kenny Rogers is laying down his microphone and taking up a pen instead. Rogers, famous for hits like the "The Gambler," has written two new childrens' books, titled "The Toy Shoppe" and "Brothers", (Addax Publishing), both with Christmas themes. The singer says he prefers writing about Christmas because the reader is more likely to forgive illogical plot ideas such as toys coming to life. Rogers admits the books might be more sophisticated than most kids are used to and says they contain "Kids' emotions for adults."
