ICE, ICE BABY: RAP-INSPIRED ICE CREAM

NEWARK, N.J. (Wireless Flash) -- Ice cream is getting a good rap with rappers thanks to the hip-hop ensemble Outsidaz. The rappers have just opened up an ice cream parlor in their hometown of Newark, New Jersey, which features flavors named after famous rap acts. One Eminem-inspired ice cream is a vanilla-flavored confection called "Vanilla No Ice" and rapper Redman is honored with a rum-raisin flavor called "Red Rum Raisin." Even New York City radio DJ-turned-rapper Angie Martinez is the inspiration behind a flavor called "Butter Pecan Rican." Members of the Outsidaz plan to make regular stops at their Outrageous Flavors parlor to dish out hip-hop ice cream to fans.
