`CRAP-AWAY' SPRAY: IT'S A DON'T FOR DOG DO

QUEENS, N.Y. (Wireless Flash) -- Forget about building a better mousetrap -- a computer programmer in Queens, New York, has figured out something better: How to keep dogs from pooping on your lawn. 47-year-old Constantine Kalpaxis says he was tired of feeling "helpless" after dog owners let their pooches poop on the sidewalk in front of his apartment, so he invented a chemical concoction called -- believe or not -- "Crap Away." The spray compound contains capsicum, the same burning component in hot peppers, and it supposedly makes dogs and cats think twice before doing Number 2 in spots where it's sprayed. Kalpaxis isn't resting on his loo laurels, though. He says his next invention is a way to keep pigeons from dumping on his building.
