MOST FOLKS DON'T HOG CHANGE IN PIGGY BANKS

BELLEVUE, Wash. (Wireless Flash) -- It looks like most Americans aren't hogging their change in piggy banks these days. According to a survey by Coinstar counting machines, only 9 percent keep their change in piggy banks while 27 percent prefer to shove their excess pennies, nickels and dimes into jars or jugs. -- 9 percent keep their change in a coin purse. -- 6 percent save their change in a coffee cup. -- 5 percent have a special cookie jar just for money. -- And 4 percent of Americans just toss their change into a random drawer.
