BIOLOGIST: `REAL MUTANTS DON'T HAVE SUPER POWERS'

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash) -- The new "X-Men" movie makes it seem like every mutant has super powers -- but it's super inaccurate. According to biologist Dr. Martin Yanofsky, unlike the X-Men -- who can change weather and emit energy beams from their eyes -- real mutants are more likely to be born without arms or have congenital twins growing in their bellies. However, things could change in the future since scientists have discovered ways to mutate lab rats so they'll live longer then their non-mutant cousins. Dr. Yanofsky also thinks genetic researchers will eventually discover how to give humans abilities we don't currently have with the help of computer chips attached to the brain.
