CAPTAIN KIRK: TECHNOLOGICAL TWIT?

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- As Captain Kirk, William Shatner went boldly where no man has gone before -- but when it comes to technology, he's stuck in the past. Even though the 69-year-old Shatner is a spokesman for a high-tech internet company, he tells the upcoming "US Weekly" that he's so technologically inept that he can't even program his VCR. Shatner is so clueless about modern-day devices that he refers to his VCR as a "VHS" and he refuses to use a computer, preferring to write scripts and novels in longhand. But the old dog isn't letting his technological klutziness stop him from learning new tricks: Shatner says his latest hobby is learning how to play the harmonica.
