BATHROOM WALL LATEST JOB SEARCH TECHNIQUE

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Looking for a new job? Try checking out the messages written on the walls of public rest rooms. IKEA, the Swedish-based do-it-yourself furniture store, is advertising for new jobs by scribbling graffiti on bathroom walls in upscale Swedish restaurants. The company claims the rest room recruiting plan is not long-term -- just an experiment to discover the response. So far, IKEA has flushed out 60 people with the commode classifieds -- which is 20 percent more than the response from similar help wanted ads placed in Stockholm newspapers. IKEA says at the present time it will limit its loo job searches to Swedish johns and has no plans to bring the practice to U.S. bathrooms.
