PIZZA HUT TO SHOOT FIRST E.T. AD INTO SPACE

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash) -- If Pizza Hut has its way, E.T. will forget about phoning home and order pizza instead. Tomorrow morning (Jul. 12) the pizza chain will become the first company to advertise in space thanks to a proton rocket that will be launched from the former Soviet republic of Kazakhstan. The rocket fuselage features a giant 225-cubic-foot Pizza Hut logo and a company spokesman claims that if E.T.s do exist, the logo will be the first Earth ad they will see upon entering orbit. But the aliens are out of luck if they want to order anything --the Pizza Hut rocket won't display any delivery numbers for phone-in orders.
