100 YEAR OLDS TO CELEBRATE QUEEN MUM'S 100TH BIRTHDAY

LONG BEACH, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- England's Queen Mother may not turn 100 until August 4th -- but a group of centenarians are already celebrating her landmark birthday. Later today (Jul. 11), several 100-year-olds will gather aboard the Queen Mary ocean liner in Long Beach, California, to hold a birthday tea party for the Queen Mum. The oldsters will dine on traditional English fare like cucumber sandwiches and scones, as well as a birthday cake. The oldest of the centenarians is 109-year-old Mabel Richardson, who came to the U.S. from England to be an actress in Hollywood. The birthday bash is sponsored by the British American Business Council.
