GEORGE BUSH: ONE TOUGH COOKIE

MIAMI (Wireless Flash) -- George Bush is proving to be one tough cookie, according to a new presidential poll. Something called the "America Chews 2000" poll is predicting the next president of the United States based on sales of cookies bearing the likeness of the two presidential candidates. The makers of the cookies claim voters will naturally pick a cookie bearing the mug of the candidate who appeals to them most, and so far, Bush is creaming Gore. Voters must buy a dozen cookies to cast one vote, and so far Bush is beating Gore by about 10,000 boxes. The company behind the cookies -- AmericaChews.com -- plans to run the cookie poll until election day in November, and is confident the results will predict the winner.
