`SURVIVOR' WANNABE REJECTED FOR GOOD MORALS

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Now that you're familiar with the motley crew of castaways on "Survivor," are you curious as to how the producers picked them? Well, "Survivor" creator Mark Burnett admits all the castaways -- including 73-year-old Rudy -- were picked for sex appeal. Burnett tells "National Geographic Adventurer" that the selection process was difficult because "People have to want to sleep with our cast....[but] they can't all look like bloody Julia Roberts. There has to be some Alan Alda." One 26-year-old male was rejected after Burnett asked him if he would ever sleep with a "slutty girl" and he replied, "Is it a requirement?" On the other hand, he was initially excited about one female applicant because she had lots of "mother issues" and figured she'd be great.
