DISASTER VICTIMS TO GET ANTI-DIARRHEA DONATIONS

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- A California- based pharmaceutical company has started a program to help victims of natural disaster relieve themselves of diarrhea. Shaman Pharmaceuticals will donate bottles of something called "Normal Stool Formula" to disaster victims worldwide -- including folks still recovering from last winter's floods in Venezuela. Every month, the company will donate about 6000 tablets of the over-the-counter medicine, which is made from the sap of an Amazon tree known as "Sangre de Drago," or "Dragon's Blood." Company co-founder Steven R. King says the anti-diarrhea donations are the company's way of giving back to the tropical areas where they find many of their healing formulas.
