GLOW IN THE DARK LICE?

GLOW IN THE DARK LICE?

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (Wireless Flash) -- Here's a real head scratcher: a Yale physician has created a lice shampoo that makes the nits glow in the dark. Pediatrician Sydney Spiesel says his shampoo -- called HeadLights -- contains an organic dye that causes lice and their eggs to glow when ultraviolet light is flashed at them. Dr. Spiesel hopes the new lice-illuminating head wash will be a big hit since many schools have had horrible lice outbreaks in the past year. However, he jokes that if the shampoo makes him famous, he may go down in history as "the man who made lice sparkle."
