DOG CELEBS DOGGING NEW NBC DOG SHOW

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- A new NBC sitcom featuring talking canines is getting dogged by controversy from the Taco Bell Chihuahua and Eddie, the dog on "Frasier." That's according to Phoenix-based pet psychic "TeGayle," who claims she recently spoke with the celebrity pooches about "Dog Days," a new canine TV comedy that will debut in 2001. It seems Eddie and the Taco Bell Chihuahua fear the pooch sitcom will show dogs acting like humans instead of like real mutts. TeGayle also claims the chihuahua wants the producers to hire dogs to write the lines instead of humans, while Eddie is worried the dog actors will be underpaid. The "Frasier" canine advises aspiring pooch thespians to demand equal pay as well as special doggie dressing rooms and puppy chefs.
