`PHANTOM MENACE' MOST NITPICKED MOVIE OF ALL TIME

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Wireless Flash) -- "Star Wars: Episode I -- The Phantom Menace" has a unique distinction among moviegoers: it's the No. 1 most nitpicked movie by fans. That's according to Brendan Johnson, who runs Nitpickers.com, a website where film fans point out all sorts of flubs, goofs and inconsistencies in movies. There are currently about 300 "nitpicks" on "Phantom Menace" -- including gripes about Obi-Wan Kenobi's hairline changing from scene to scene and complaints the film's promotional poster should show two shadows of Anakin since he lives on a planet with two suns. Johnson says the biggest misconception about nitpickers is that they don't like the movies they tear apart --usually it's the other way around. Other top films high on the nitpick list include "The Matrix, Titanic, Scream" and "Terminator 2."
