VOICE OF BORIS BADENOV REAL LIFE G-MAN

SYDNEY, Australia (Wireless Flash) -- Bullwinkle's nemesis, Boris Badenov, tried to overthrow the government -- but the original actor who gave Boris his voice was really a government agent. It seems Paul Frees, who created Boris Badenov's voice, actually spent 30 years as an undercover narcotics agent for the FBI. That's according to Bullwinkle buff Keith Scott -- who also provides the voices of both Bullwinkle and Badenov in the upcoming "Rocky And Bullwinkle" movie. Although Frees kept his secret agent status to himself until his death in 1986, Scott feels Frees' life in law enforcement may have helped him understand the criminal mind and apply it to roles like Badenov. Scott is the author of the upcoming Bullwinkle biography "The Moose That Roared" (Thomas Dunne).
