LITERARY POTTY: BATHROOM READING WEEK STARTS MONDAY (JUN. 5)

SADDLE RIVER, N.J. (Wireless Flash) -- Starting Monday (Jun. 5), literature will be going to pot -- as in the toilet. Monday is the first day of National Bathroom Reading Week, and you're supposed to lug your favorite literature to the loo. Bathroom Reading Week founder Jack Kreismer says he flushed out the tribute to the toilet after he realized Americans spend about five percent of their waking hours sitting on the john. He claims the best bathroom literature is stuff like trivia, magazine articles or newspapers, which are brief enough to finish in the typical bathroom break. And that's the straight poop.
