FOLKS DROPPING TROUSERS FOR FREE UNDIES

SALT LAKE CITY (Wireless Flash) -- Would you drop your drawers if someone offered you a free pair of underwear? That's the gimmick one online underwear retailer has come up with as part of something called "The Great American Underwear Exchange." Representatives from the Uglies brand underwear company are traveling around the U.S. asking people to take off their panties in exchange for a new pair of undershorts. The good news: The underwear exchangers get to use a private booth when they drop their trousers. The bad news: their old underwear will be placed on public display. A spokesman says Uglies expects to collect hundreds of pairs of panties before the campaign is over, then they'll most likely throw out the old underwear.
