FORMER `ROSEANNE' SCRIBE PENS SUICIDE SONG

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Some may argue working for Roseanne is enough to make you commit suicide -- but one former employee is content just writing a song about the grim topic. Comic Bobby Gaylor, a former writer for the "Roseanne" sitcom, has just released "Suicide," a spoken-word song that's attracting lots of attention from radio listeners. The song was written for a friend who flirted with committing suicide -- but Gaylor admits the frustration of working on Roseanne's show inspired some of the lines. Since releasing the track, he's received more than 23,000 letters from fans and he's spending about three hours each night replying to the mail. However, Gaylor admits he doesn't write back to the more obsessive fans because -- as he puts it -- "you don't want to encourage that kind of stuff."
