WANTED: LATINA LOVELIES FOR SALSA SPICE GIRLS

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash) -- If you're a salsa-dancing Salma Hayak lookalike who can sing in Spanish and English, a California record label wants to hear from you. The label is creating a sort of Latina version of the Spice Girls, and is looking for girls about 19 years old to try out for the group. Michael Brae of Hitman Records says Latin lovelies of all singing styles are invited -- but all applicants must be curvy since Latino men tend to prefer women who aren't skinny sticks. Although insiders are jokingly calling the proposed combo the "Salsa Girls," Brae insists he has yet to decide what the name will be. If you fit the bill, you can send a demo tape, picture and resume to: Hitman Entertainment; 1499 California St., Suite 405, San Francisco, CA; 94109 If all goes well, Brae hopes to release a single from the new group later this fall.
