COLLEGE GRADS FIGHTING OWN GRANDPARENTS FOR JOBS

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash) -- The job market is becoming a battleground between senior citizens and college students. According to business trend expert John Challenger, college graduates looking for their first jobs are facing competition from computer-savvy seniors who refuse to languish in retirement. In a move that could pit grandparent against grandchild, more senior citizens are applying for entry level jobs than ever before. Challenger says the new trend could be a rude awakening for spring chickens, since many employers prefer seniors and their lifetime job experiences. However, the employment expert feels there's enough jobs to go around for both oldsters and youngsters -- which, hopefully, will prevent any family squabbles from breaking out.
