LOU FERRIGNO: `I'D LOVE TO BE IN `GLADIATOR' SEQUEL'

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- If the folks behind "Gladiator" can't afford Russell Crowe for the sequel, muscleman Lou Ferrigno is willing to step in his sandals. The former "Incredible Hulk" star made his share of gladiator flicks back in the 1980s and says they were so much fun, he'd gladly step back in the arena "in a heartbeat." Ferrigno -- who's 48 now -- says he's more than prepared to do battle as a gladiator and claims he's in the best shape of his life. Even if the former Mr. Universe isn't hired for any upcoming gladiator flicks, you can still see him on the big screen: Ferrigno will play the devil in "Bedazzled," a Brendan Fraser comedy which will be released later this year.
