PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE RUNNING PRO-PETE ROSE PLATFORM

WILMINGTON, Delaware (Wireless Flash) -- Al Gore and George W. Bush's race to the White House may get derailed by a new presidential candidate who claims Pete Rose is the real political issue this year. The new candidate -- who calls himself "Felix" -- is a 57-year-old teacher of medieval literature from Wilmington, Delaware. Felix says if he's elected, he'll use his presidential clout to make sure Pete Rose is admitted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. He admits the Rose issue isn't inspiring anyone to march in the streets, but he believes most Americans think Rose has suffered enough. Felix also wants Chuck Berry's "Back In The U.S.A." to become the new national anthem and he promises he will make it illegal for movie reviewers to reveal the surprise endings of films.
