`LOVE BUG' VIRUS ALSO HURTING LOVE LIVES

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- That "I Love You" computer virus crashing computers around the world may also be wrecking love lives. According to Los Angeles-based rejection expert Dr. Deborah Cooper, the virus -- which is attached to email messages containing the words "I Love You" as the subject -- may cause some couples to break up permanently. She says it's possible many computer users are sending e-mail love letters which innocently contain the words "I Love You" in the subject heading -- but if virus-fearing recipients delete the message without realizing it's a real love letter, it's possible the sender could feel rejected. In the worst case scenario, Cooper fears some lovelorn net surfers could become suicidal -- or even start stalking the object of their desire.
