THEY'RE BAAAACK: CHUPACABRA ATTACKS CHILEAN CHICKENS

CALAMA, Chile (Wireless Flash) -- Farmers in Chile are being terrorized by what's being called the return of the chupacabras. In the past few weeks, more than 150 sheep, pigs and chickens have been found dead and mutilated near the town of Calama. Locals are blaming the attacks on a unusual flying creature that eyewitnesses describe as being a nearly 4-foot-tall chupacabra. Reporter Steve Anderson of the "Santiago Times" says police think wild dogs are responsible for the attacks -- but another journalist isn't so sure. Cesar Rozas of the "La Estrella Del Loa" newspaper believes officials are hiding the truth. He says if wild dogs were responsible, investigators would have found blood on the dead animals' skins. However, no blood has been found and locals say they didn't hear barking or any other noises when the attacks occurred.
