ATTACKS OF THE KILLER ANTS?

JACKSON, Miss. (Wireless Flash) -- Here's a sting operation you should know about: fire ants may be using your air conditioner as combat headquarters. According to a new study in the "Journal of Allergy And Clinical Immunology," ferocious fire ants often break into homes via air conditioning vents. Researcher Stephen Kemp says the ants bite when agitated, and many folks are allergic to the pests. A little maintenance around the home and yard can close up potential ant entryways but bed-ridden folks are particularly at risk of attack.
