COCA-COLA IS REAL THING ONLY AROUND PASSOVER

ATLANTA, Ga. (Wireless Flash) -- Passover begins on Wednesday and, believe it or not, it's about the only time when Americans get to taste the real Coca-Cola. According to Coca-Cola spokesman Chuck Reece, most Coke sold in the U.S. these days is made with corn sweeteners, not the cane sugar used in the original concoction. However, during Passover, many Jews avoid corn so the company bottles a special kosher version sweetened with cane sugar. The special kosher Coke is available in areas with large Jewish populations and, while some connoisseurs reportedly prefer it to the real thing, Reece says most folks can't tell the difference.
