CELEBRITIES GET ODD TAX BREAKS

CINCINNATI, Ohio (Wireless Flash) -- Celebrities get all the breaks -- especially the tax kind. That's according to Cincinnati-based tax attorney Ed Lyon, who says many celebrities qualify for unusual tax deductions. For instance, Daryl Hannah recently signed on to play a stripper in an upcoming movie. As a result, she'll be able to deduct the cost of visiting strip bars under the guise of "research." Then there are Kathie Lee and Frank Gifford who claim romantic weekends in fancy hotels saved their marriage. If those visits were prescribed by a therapist, the couple can deduct the hotel expenses. Finally, Lyon says Bob Dole can deduct Viagra as a medical expense.
