DIRTY AIR CLEANER YIELDS NEW SHADE OF PAINT

PORTLAND, Ore. (Wireless Flash) -- A Portland paint company has found a unique way to recycle old pigments: just mix them all together into a new color. The Gamblin Artists Colors company has created a new shade dubbed "Torrit Grey" made out of more than 90 pigments scraped out of its air- filtration system. The pigments represent a year's worth of accumulated gunk, and the resulting tone is a grayish green similar to the color of a mud mask facial. A spokesman for the company says it's giving away free tubes of Torrit Grey in honor of Earth Day, which takes place on April 22.
