TIGER'S GOT GAMBLERS BY THE TAIL

LONDON (Wireless Flash) -- Tiger Woods has the oddsmakers by the tail: If he wins all four Grand Slam events this year, it could break their banks. London-based oddsmaker Graham Sharpe says the odds of Woods winning the U.S. Open, British Open, U.S. Masters and the U.S. PGA Championship are 33-1. The last time anyone pulled off such a clean sweep was in 1930 when Bobby Jones did it. If Tiger beats the odds and does win the Grand Slam, Sharpe predicts the entire betting industry could lose up to $50 million. One thing's for sure: if Tiger wins next month's U.S. Masters Open, Sharpe says it's a sure bet a record number of non-golfers will place Grand Slam bets.
