NASA CONSULTING WITH BATMOBILE DESIGNER

NORTH HOLLYWOOD (Wireless Flash) -- Holy spaceballs Batman! NASA is now taking advice from the creator of the Batmobile. Car designer George Barris, who created the original Batmobile for 1960s-era TV series, has been helping the space agency build a new space rover that will be used in upcoming missions to Mars. Barris says NASA officials are specifically interested in a six- wheeled prototype he designed almost 20 years ago. The six wheels all move independently, which NASA figures could be useful on the rough terrain of the Red Planet.
