ACTRESS SICK OF BEING RECOGNIZED FOR FEMININE HYGIENE ADS

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- Although actress Dina Meyer isn't a household name, she already knows a little something about being recognized on the street. Meyer -- best known for her role in "Starship Troopers" -- says one of her first jobs was to appear in a TV ad for Always brand sanitary napkins. Although the role helped pay her bills, Meyer admits she wasn't exactly flattered when she was stopped by a woman on the street who recognized her as the "Always girl." She tried to put the encounter in the best light, and figures the woman was simply touched by her performance. Meyer can be seen in the new series, "Secret Agent Man," which airs Tuesdays on the UPN network.
