NEW STUDY: GARLIC BREAD CALMS FAMILY FEUDS

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash) -- Garlic doesn't just ward off vampires -- it may ward off arguments at the dinner table. A new study by the Smell & Taste Treatment and Research Foundation suggests the aroma of garlic bread can actually prevent family fights. Researchers report that folks who smell and eat garlic bread at dinner appear to make fewer negative comments about family members. The study also shows that once garlic bread is served, the number of positive comments uttered at the dinner table increase. Researcher Dr. Alan Hirsch says the study suggests it might be a good idea to serve garlic bread during other potentially tense situations such as business meetings and political debates.
