OLDSTERS VOTE 1970s WORST ERA FOR CLOTHING

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. (Wireless Flash) -- When it comes to clothes, America's oldsters would rather dress like Ozzie and Harriet than the cast of "The Mod Squad." According to a new survey by "New Choices" magazine, most senior citizens think the 1950s were the best decade for clothes followed by 1940s fashion. The oldsters rate the disco outfits and leisure suits of the 1970s as the "most embarrassing" of the century, followed by the '60s. The verdict is still out on whether the clothes of the '90s were stylish: 14 percent call the 90s the best decade for fashion while 13 percent say it's the worst.
