MEDITATION AMUSEMENT PARK TO LIVE ON DESPITE HENNING DEATH

TORONTO (Wireless Flash) -- Although magician Doug Henning died Monday (Feb. 7) of liver cancer, his proposed "meditation amusement park" dedicated to the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi will live on. Park spokesman Ron Parker says Maharishi Veda Land is scheduled to break ground near Niagara Falls, Ontario, as soon as financing for the $1 billion project is completed. Some of the rides Henning devised before his death include a magic Flying Chariot Ride and the world's only levitating building. Parker says if financing is found, the park could be open for business by 2002.
