THE GRASS IS GREENEST AT ALAN KEYES' HOUSE

EAST LANSING, Michigan (Wireless Flash) -- Republican presidential candidate Alan Keyes may be behind George W. Bush in the polls but he's ahead in one aspect: he's got a greener lawn. According to Dr. Trey Rogers, a turf-grass specialist at Michigan State University, Keyes' home in Gaithersburg, Maryland, has the best lawn of all the presidential candidates -- it's big, beautiful and perfect for a party. Rogers also gives high marks to Bush's lawn, which he says is kept "meticulous" and Al Gore's lawn, which isn't as green but looks like it's hosted many parties. The lousy lawn list includes John McCain's front yard, which Rogers says "...is as small as his chances of getting elected..." and Pat Buchanan, who has the ugliest lawn, mainly because it's blocked from the world by an ugly fence.
